Production Workshop Technician HOURS: Full time 8am 5pmType: Staff roleSalary range: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experienceLocation: Whitland on site Our client: Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Production Workshop Technician to join their busy workshop team. This is a hands on role suited to someone with experience operating press brake machinery and laser profile cutting equipment within a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Job Description/ The role: The Production Workshop Technician will be responsible for setting up and operating workshop machinery to produce accurate, high quality components. You ll work from engineering drawings and production schedules, carrying out quality checks and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities:• Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal components.• Operate laser profile cutting equipment safely and efficiently.• Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions and production schedules.• Carry out in process quality checks to ensure components meet required tolerances.• Load and unload materials and handle finished components safely.• Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance.• Report any machine faults promptly.• Support general workshop and production activities when required.• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
