Production Welder/Fabricator

Production Welder/Fabricator Prodrive Recruitment Consultants Ltd are seeking a skilled Production Welder/Fabricator to join our well-established client''s manufacturing team based in Pershore, Worcestershire. This role involves working with various materials and fabrication techniques to produce high-quality components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication processes, with a strong focus on precision and safety. Main Responsibilities: Mainly MIG and some TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, typically from 1mm up to 20 mm thick. Read technical drawings and specifications to accurately produce parts and assemblies JIG making. Marking and identifying materials, dressing and finishing. One-off prototype work as well as medium batch production. Some knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts. Fabricate components through cutting, bending, and assembling metal sheets and other materials. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to company standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Carry out any other reasonable duties as required including possible secondment to work in other areas on the shop floor.
