The role is focused on designing and developing practical tooling solutions that improve build accuracy, efficiency and product changeover, with involvement from initial concept and CAD design through to manufacture, trials and final production introduction. About the role Working within Production Engineering, you will spend time understanding existing manufacturing operations before designing tooling and equipment to support production. You will work closely with technicians, engineers and suppliers, developing solutions ranging from jigs and fixtures through to more involved production and automated equipment.
