Contract: Permanent, full time Are you an engineer with hands-on experience designing jigs, fixtures and production tooling for use on the shop floor? ISQ Recruitment is recruiting a Production Tooling Engineer for an established engineering business in Norfolk. The role is focused on designing and developing practical tooling solutions that improve build accuracy, efficiency and product changeover, with involvement from initial concept and CAD design through to manufacture, trials and final production introduction. About the role Working within Production Engineering, you will spend time understanding existing manufacturing operations before designing tooling and equipment to support production. You will work closely with technicians, engineers and suppliers, developing solutions ranging from jigs and fixtures through to more involved production and automated equipment. The role combines 3D CAD design with practical shop-floor involvement, so you will see your designs through manufacture, proof of concept, testing and introduction into production.
