Production Test Engineer Electronics Colchester Up to 34, Days Holiday + Bank Holidays We are recruiting an Electronics Production Test Engineer to join a well-established engineering manufacturer in Colchester. This is a hands-on role focused on testing electronic hardware, including PCB assemblies (PCBAs), embedded systems, and finished products within a production environment.You will work closely with RandD, production, and quality teams to validate products, diagnose faults, and support continuous improvement. Please note: this role involves electronic hardware testing and is not a software QA or automation testing position. The RoleKey responsibilities include:Executing formal test procedures on PCBAs and electronic assembliesComponent-level fault finding, diagnosis, and repairProducing fault reports to support product improvementMaintaining test records in line with ISO 9001 proceduresCreating and operating Automated Test Equipment (ATE)Supporting new product introduction and validationCollaborating with RandD, production, and quality teams to resolve technical issues What We''re Looking ForHNC / HND / ONC in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)Experience in electronic test within manufacturing or RandDStrong fault-finding skills to component levelExperience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and electronic test equipmentExperience with PCBAs and electronic assembliesKnowledge of ISO 9001 or IPC standards Desirable:RF or microwave testing ..... full job details .....
