Production Technician (Water Recycling)

Can you work well independently?If this sounds like you, then you''ll want to learn more about this opportunity We want to be the water company people want to be supplied by and want to work for.In this Production Technician role, you will be responsible for the monitoring, controlling and maintenance of the sludge treatment process at Barcombe treatment works. You will oversee the proper usage of chemicals throughout the treatment process, as well as ensuring the sludge works and related sites are running efficiently.Some experience in the water industry, either in fresh water or waste management is crucial. This will allow you to work independently and ensure that all compliance and health and safety measures are adhered to. Ideally, you have strong record keeping skills and are able to use basic IT systems. As well as looking after sludge treatment, you will also be expected to maintain the grounds and lagoon, ensuring everything is tidy and well maintained. If you enjoy having the freedom to plan your day out and work independently, this role will suit you.In this role, you will be working Monday to Friday 7:30 - 3:30, with a half hour early finish on Fridays. You will be based at the Barcombe site only and will not be required to work a standby rota.
