The Production Technician role will focus on the electro-mechanical assembly and test of a variety of mission critical imaging and security systems covering the manufacture and testing of mechanical, optical and electronic assemblies, component level fault-finding and documentation. Applicants for this Production Technician role should bring the following skills & experience: A formal Engineering qualification. SMT soldering (to 0201) and PCB repair skills. Wiring and cable-harness assembly experience. Good fault-finding skills. The ability to read schematics. Some experience with electro-mechanical assembly. An understanding of clean room techniques. A basic understanding of SolidWorks or similar and electronic principles.
