Production Technician

Steatite, part of the Solid State Group, is looking for a hands on Production Technician to join our Manufacturing team in Ashchurch in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. You will assemble, configure and test specialist electrical and computer-based products, combining practical assembly skills with technical knowledge and a strong eye for detail. What you will be doing Assembling, configuring and testing electrical and computer-based products Carrying out mechanical assembly from engineering drawings and specifications Maintaining accurate production, test and quality records Identifying and reporting technical or quality issues Ensuring products meet required customer and engineering standards Following manufacturing procedures and technical documentation Supporting continuous improvement across Production Working across different production areas when required What we are looking for You will be practical, technically minded and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
