Production Technician

A long-standing manufacturer in Mildenhall, Suffolk, is growing its operations and seeking an experienced Production Technician to strengthen its team. This hands-on role will see you maintaining and optimising machinery within both the Lathe and Assembly departments. Enjoy regular opportunities for overtime at enhanced rates and some of the region''s most attractive shift premiums. Both AM and PM shifts are available, with a standard 40-hour workweek.Production Technician Duties?Maintaining and repairing multispindle lathe machines and automated assembly equipmentDiagnosing faults related to machine wear and product qualityAssisting with machine operation to support production output when neededInvestigating and implementing process improvements and cost-saving measuresProviding training and support for new and existing team membersUsing maintenance software to log and complete tasksWho are we looking for? The ideal candidate will:Have 2-5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably 24/7 or shift-basedPossess a strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with multispindle lathes or automated assembly machinesBe self-motivated, ..... full job details .....
