Production Technician - UAV Manufacturing Location: HerefordType: Full-TimeDepartment: Production / ManufacturingReporting To: Head of Manufacturing The Opportunity I am partnering with a rapidly growing defence technology company developing advanced unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for military and security applications. This is a hands-on production role at the heart of UAV manufacturing. You''ll be responsible for preparing and bonding carbon fibre airframes before they move into final assembly, helping transform composite structures into operational aircraft. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you''ll follow detailed build instructions, maintain high quality standards, and play a direct role in delivering critical capability to end users. Key Responsibilities Prepare carbon fibre UAV airframes for assembly and integration Mix, apply, and cure adhesives in line with manufacturing specifications Follow manufacturing orders and work instructions accurately, including curing and process timings Carry out self-inspection of completed work and identify any defects Maintain quality standards while working to production deadlines Work closely with production and assembly teams to ensure efficient workflow Essential Experience and Skills Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail Experience carrying out precise hands-on assembly, bonding, or similar technical work Ability to follow written instructions and manufacturing processes accurately Comfortable ..... full job details .....
