Production Technician £35,000 - £36,300 per annum Telford (Shropshire)

We are partnering with a leading FMCG manufacturer in Telford to recruit several Production Technicians for their site. This is a permanent, secure role within a business that prides itself on innovation, quality, and a supportive team culture.

• Competitive Salary: £35,000 – £36,300 per annum.
• Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (12-hour days and nights, 6-6).

You will be the heartbeat of the production line. Working within a high-speed manufacturing environment, you will:

• Operate and Monitor: Ensure high-speed machinery runs efficiently to meet production targets.
• Set Up & Maintain: Conduct precision machine setups and routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Solve Problems: Use fault-finding tools (such as process fault trees) to resolve minor technical issues independently.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the shift team to maintain accurate records and hit quality standards.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing, technical, or machine-operating role.
• Sector Knowledge: Experience in FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Packaging, Print, or Pharmaceutical sectors is highly desirable.
• Technical Aptitude: Confidence in making minor mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting machine faults.
• Reliability: Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
