Job Summary
A leading manufacturer in Thetford is seeking a reliable and motivated Production Technician to join its production team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient manufacture, assembly, inspection, and packaging of products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with company procedures.
• Assemble, prepare, inspect, and package products to required quality standards.
• Monitor production processes and identify any issues affecting quality or efficiency.
• Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure materials and components are available to support production schedules.
• Assist with machine set-ups, changeovers, and routine equipment checks.
• Carry out cleaning duties and maintain a safe and organised work area.
• Work closely with production, quality, engineering, and warehouse teams to achieve production targets.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, company policies, and GMP procedures where applicable.
• Report equipment faults, quality concerns, shortages, or production delays promptly.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices within a production setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and handling materials safely.
• Basic computer skills for production recording and tracking purposes.
• Flexible and willing to work rotating shifts.
