Production Technician

Our client based In Costessey is recruiting for 2 Production Technicians on a temporary to permanent basis.The client is expanding the workforce and looking for experienced candidates to join the team and have a supportive and inclusive environment.Shifts; (Apply online only)/(Apply online only), 4 on/off rotating shift patternPay; £14.00 per hour, rising to a starting salary of £33,000 or £15.11 per hour when going permanent with the client after 12 weeks of work.Main Duties Include; Working with the production facility completing varied dutiesWorking to health and safety standards, taking responsibility for all safe working practicesBeing responsible for production on shift including; Raw materials, finished product, packing, palletisation and machine care Washing machinery parts and ensuring they are clean and damage freeEnsuring all products are processed to specificationChecking product dimensions and adjusting machinery where neededChecking consistency, quality of the product and making adjustments as neededMaintaining accurate production recordsCompleting and recording cleaning during production changeoversTaking effective action in event if machinery breakdownMaintain and record all plant conditions in line with roleSelecting correct packaging materials and pallets for productCarrying our rework and rebag operations as neededTo support with spillages, press cleaning and general hygiene workTo separate non-conforming products and report to manufacturing managerCheck ..... full job details .....
