Production Technician

Selexa Biotech are partnered with an innovative technology client in Oxfordshire to support the growth and expansion of their manufacturing and production team. With applications across- range of technologies, this is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Technician to begin their career in a dynamic engineering environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build and test sub-assemblies and tools to the required standard using production documents
• Identify and report problems with manufacturing
• Assist manufacturing to maintain and improve process and manufacturing quality
• Support NPI in delivering on time product to the customer
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the production and cleanroom areas
• Kitting of assemblies to the BOMs when required
• Quality control of parts arriving for stock
• Support the Operations team in maintaining Health & Safety standards across the business

Qualifications:

• An Engineering or Educational qualification
• Previous experience or knowledge of building and testing electromechanical devices
• Previous experience or knowledge of wiring/soldering to IPC standards
• Strong communication skills
• Previous measurements experience of oscilloscopes, multimeters etc
