Production Technician

Production Technician Didcot - £30,000 + Benefits A fast-paced, well-established manufacturing business is looking for a hands-on Production Technician to join their team in Didcot to support production, troubleshoot issues on the line and help keep manufacturing running efficiently day-to-day. Looking for somebody with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to get involved. The role would suit somebody from a manufacturing, assembly, production or electromechanical background who enjoys practical problem solving and working closely with people on the shop floor. As a Production Technician, you will: Supporting day-to-day production activities Investigating and resolving manufacturing issues Assembly, wiring and testing work Working from drawings and work instructions Supporting quality and process improvements Working closely with production and engineering teams. Skills required from the Production Technician: Manufacturing or production environment experience Assembly or electromechanical work experience Soldering, wiring or crimping skills Testing, rework or troubleshooting skills Working from technical drawings/instructions The company are very open to training and developing the right person, so this does not need to be a fully formed plug-and-play technician.
