Production Technical Lead

Role Purpose To provide day-to-day leadership and hands-on support within the Production team, helping ensure safe, efficient and consistent delivery of products to agreed quality and business requirements. The role will typically spend around 60% of its time working directly alongside the Production team, combining practical production activity with supervision and coordination. The balance of the role provides technical and manufacturing support, working closely with and taking lead from the Manufacturing Support Engineer. The precise balance will vary in line with operational and business needs. Daily Hands-on production activity and day-to-day supervision of the Production team. Production priorities, workload coordination and effective use of available resources. First-line technical guidance and practical problem solving within Production. Support for manufacturing engineering, product introduction, product change and lifecycle activities. Quality, safety, compliance and continuous improvement within the production environment. Coaching, development and capability of the Production team. Cross-functional collaboration to maintain production flow and resolve operational issues. Ensuring continuity of services; production, assembly, stores, inspection during times of absence. Key Accountabilities 1.
