Team Leader - ProductionSalary: £35,907 (plus 15% shift premium)Hours: 40 (rotating shifts Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm / Monday - Thursday 2pm - 12am)OverviewA first-line leadership role within Production, responsible for leading a team to deliver the production plan safely, on time, to quality and cost targets. A people-centric role with full accountability for team performance, development, and wellbeing.Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and manage Production Operators and technical staffOwn Health and Safety in your area, including risk assessments, COSHH and incident investigationsDeliver the production plan in line with quality, cost and delivery targetsDrive team performance, skills development, attendance and engagementMaintain high standards of housekeeping, 5S and audit complianceUse problem-solving tools (PDCA, 5W2H) to address issues and improve efficiencyWork cross-functionally with Planning, Purchasing, Quality and LogisticsChampion use of the ERP system (Epicor) within your teamMonitor costs, resource usage and overtime approvalsReport into the Production Manager and deputise when required Key Requirements Proven experience leading teams in a manufacturing or production environmentStrong people management, communication and problem-solving skillsSolid understanding of Health and Safety and quality standardsComfortable working alternating shifts and managing daily prioritiesConfident using ERP systems and people management systems A great opportunity for a ..... full job details .....
