Production Team Leader

Responsible for leading and supervising a team of Workshop Technicians within a bespoke manufacturing environment, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate and manage workshop technicians day to day.
• Plan workloads, delegate tasks and monitor project schedules and completion targets.
• Maintain high standards of quality, HSE and workmanship.
• Monitor performance, identify training needs and support staff development.
• Resolve operational issues and work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain and other departments.
• Support LEAN manufacturing, continuous improvement, cost reduction and lead-time improvements.
• Manage customer requirements and internal/external suppliers.

Ideal experience:

• Previous team leadership/supervisory experience within manufacturing or engineering.
• Experience with bespoke/complex manufacturing, workflow planning and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of HSE, quality standards and LEAN manufacturing.
• Good communication, problem-solving, organisation and people-management skills
