Production Team Leader

Responsible for leading and supervising a team of Workshop Technicians within a bespoke manufacturing environment, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, on time and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities:Lead, motivate and manage workshop technicians day to day.Plan workloads, delegate tasks and monitor project schedules and completion targets.Maintain high standards of quality, HSE and workmanship.Monitor performance, identify training needs and support staff development.Resolve operational issues and work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain and other departments.Support LEAN manufacturing, continuous improvement, cost reduction and lead-time improvements.Manage customer requirements and internal/external suppliers.Ideal experience:Previous team leadership/supervisory experience within manufacturing or engineering.Experience with bespoke/complex manufacturing, workflow planning and scheduling.Strong understanding of HSE, quality standards and LEAN manufacturing.Good communication, problem-solving, organisation and people-management skills Please click here to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
