Production Team Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a long established company based in Medway Towns for a Production Team Leader to join their manufacturing team on a permanent basis.You will be managing a diverse department, overseeing the manufacture, inspection, and assembly of wax patterns within the casting department, producing components.This is a hands-on leadership role that combines team management, problem-solving, and practical production support. You will play a key role in ensuring the department consistently delivers exceptional standards of safety, quality, productivity, and performance. The company offers structured opportunities for ongoing training, coaching, and career progression.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, motivate, and support a team of 15+ employees operating across a 24-hour manufacturing environment.Ensure production requirements are achieved while maintaining quality standards and delivery schedules.Promote a positive culture focused on safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Collaborate with the Process Improvement Team to drive efficiency and productivity enhancements.Manage pressure injection tooling requirements and ensure production readiness.Support day-to-day production activities including injection, extrusion, inspection and assembly.Coach, mentor, and develop team members.Lead daily meetings, driving performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Continuous Improvement.Administration and QualityEnsure compliance with AS9100 quality ..... full job details .....
