Production Support Operative Manufacturing Location: Henlow, BedfordshireSalary: Competitive, depending on experienceJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimeWorking Hours: Rotating shifts 6:00am 2:00pm / 2:00pm 10:00pmOvertime: AvailableThe Opportunity Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Production Support Operative on behalf of an established manufacturing company based in Henlow, Bedfordshire.This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual with experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment to join a busy and well-established operation.The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting daily production activities, ensuring materials are available when required, maintaining stock accuracy and assisting with the smooth running of manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities Support daily production operations in line with manufacturing schedules and priorities. Operate a forklift truck to safely move, load and unload materials. Receive, check and book in raw materials and deliveries. Issue and distribute raw materials to production lines and machinery. Maintain accurate stock records using computerised inventory systems. Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation procedures. Ensure production areas are supplied with the materials required to maintain efficiency. Assist production teams with machinery mould changes and general production support.
