Production Supervisor

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor on behalf of a well-established book printing manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong production and machinery background to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment.Shift Pattern (Tri-Weekly Rotation)Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00Week 2: 14:00 - 22:00Week 3: 22:00 - 06:00Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily production activities across the shift.Lead, motivate, and support production operatives to achieve output and quality targets.Ensure machinery is operated safely and efficiently, escalating issues when required.Monitor productivity, downtime, and workflow to maintain smooth operations.Maintain high standards of health and safety and enforce company procedures.Liaise with other departments to ensure production schedules are met.Support training and development of team members.RequirementsProven experience in a Production Supervisor or similar leadership role.Previous experience within a machinery or manufacturing environment (printing or similar highly desirable).Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.Ability to lead teams across rotating shifts.Good communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.What''s on OfferFull-time, long-term opportunity.Structured rotating shift pattern.Opportunity to join a stable and growing manufacturing business.Support from a dedicated recruitment team throughout the ..... full job details .....
