Production Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Supervisor to run the paint shop of a busy manufacturing business based in the Suffolk Countryside! This role is commutable from anyone who lives in Stowmarket / Ipswich area. This is a hands-on role that combines practical spray duties with the day-to-day supervision of a skilled team, ensuring projects are completed to the highest quality standards and delivered on time.Key Responsibilities: - Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the spray shop departmentPlan workloads and prioritise jobs to ensure customer delivery deadlines are achievedSupervise, mentor, and develop team members to maximise performance and productivityMonitor quality standards and ensure all finished goods meet specification requirementsIdentify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and productivitySupport recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development activitiesMaintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and organisation within the department In addition to supervisory responsibilities, you will also be involved in practical activities including:Sanding and preparing products for finishingMixing paints and stains to specificationApplying finishes to bespoke joinery productsMasking, filling, and repairing components where requiredCleaning and ..... full job details .....
