Production Supervisor
Pertemps Stoke are currently recruiting a Production Supervisor for their client based in Newcastle under Lyme.
For this Production Supervisor role, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out regular equipment inspections and overseeing daily cleaning procedures to ensure all units remain safe and free from hazardous materials
- Reporting faults, defects, breakdowns, or maintenance issues promptly to site management
- Supporting repair, maintenance, construction, and other operational tasks in line with client requirements
- Monitoring completed work to ensure quality standards are achieved and deadlines are consistently met
- Operating forklifts and other manufacturing machinery as required within the role
- Providing additional support to the wider operations team across the site as needed
For this Production Supervisor role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a Paint or Coatings environment is beneficial
- Proven experience in a production/manufacturing role is essential
- Clear communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Understanding of basic health and safety awareness
- FLT licence would be advantageous but not essential
