Production Supervisor

We are currently recruiting in the Accrington area for a well-established company who are looking for a Production Supervisor on a permanent basis. Please see below duties and responsibilities. To lead and support the production team, ensuring a safe, efficient and high-quality manufacturing operation that consistently meets production schedules and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and develop the production team to achieve departmental targets. Ensure safe systems of work are followed in line with Health and Safety legislation. Maintain high standards of product quality and ensure customer requirements are met. Monitor departmental KPIs and drive improvements in productivity, quality and efficiency. Lead daily SQCDPE meetings and communicate priorities and performance to the team. Identify training and development needs and ensure employees are trained to the required standards. Support recruitment, appraisals, performance management and employee relations processes. Promote Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement across the department. Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Continuous Improvement and Resource Planning teams. Ensure production output meets agreed schedules and standards. About You Previous experience supervising people, processes and products in a manufacturing environment. Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
