Production Supervisor

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing technology-led business with an international customer base. The company designs, develops and delivers specialist technology and equipment used by customers across a range of professional and commercial environments. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an organised, commercially aware Production Supervisor to help coordinate production, purchasing, supply chain and fulfilment activities. This is a hands-on and varied position, ideal for someone who enjoys working across different areas of an operation and taking ownership of getting things done. The company will consider applications from a confident Production Coordinator looking to take a step up or an experienced Production Supervisor. You will play an important role in ensuring that materials, suppliers, production activities and finished products move efficiently from customer order through to delivery. Key Responsibilities Production and Purchasing Review upcoming customer orders and identify required materials, components and resources. Coordinate purchasing activities and raise and manage purchase orders. Monitor supplier deliveries and proactively follow up on outstanding orders. Source components and obtain and compare supplier quotations where required. Ensure production has the materials, components and information required to meet deadlines. Monitor stock levels and support inventory management, replenishment and stock checks. ..... full job details .....
