We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to join a successful manufacturing business in Northumberland. Reporting to the leadership you will be responsible for leading a team of operators, ensuring daily production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support production personnel across shift operations.
• Ensure production schedules and KPI targets are met.
• Promote and maintain a strong health & safety culture.
• Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions where required.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Manage employee performance, training, and development.
• Utilising and overseeing stores.
• Coordinate with planning, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.

Requirements:

• Previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of health & safety and quality standards.
• Experience with continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or operational excellence initiatives.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible and proactive approach to supporting production demands.
