Production Supervisor

Your new company Hays are partnering with a leading food manufacturing business to recruit a Production Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production professional to lead and develop operational teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day production activities, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining quality and food safety standards, and driving continuous improvement across the production function.Your new roleProduction and Operational ManagementSupervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to specification.Support both day and night shift operations and ensure adequate resource coverage across all production days.Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly labour and production schedules.Monitor production output and ensure maximum productivity is maintained at all times.Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiencies, reduce waste, and increase profitability.Monitor and record line performance, downtime, breakdowns, and production losses.Team LeadershipLead, motivate, train, and develop factory operatives to maximise performance and engagement.Promote a positive culture of teamwork and collaboration across day and night shifts, encouraging a "One Shift, One Team" approach.Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and training activities.Manage attendance, timekeeping, ..... full job details .....
