The Assembly Operative will be based within the Operations team and will assist with organising workflow and the day to day duties within a busy workshop. This role offers an excellent opportunity for developing a career in a progressive, global company. The Role The main areas of responsibility for the Assembly Operative will include the following: Manufacture of a range of products from technical drawings and schematics. Hands on duties such as include welding, cutting, drilling, assembly work, cable crimping and some wiring. Operating and training other users in the use of production equipment. Operating lifting equipment. Collecting and delivering materials if required, forklift license would be desirable. Occasional property maintenance maybe required. Ensuring all work processes are completed to a high standard including keeping the workshop clean to avoid hazards & maintaining the company’s health & safety and quality guidelines.
