Production Supervisor (Food Manufacturing)

Production Supervisor Location: Aberdeen Alexander Steele Recruitment is working with a successful food manufacturing business in Aberdeen to recruit a Production Supervisor. Reporting to the Shift Manager/Assistant Shift Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the production area, ensuring the team operates safely, efficiently and to the required quality and production standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate production activities throughout the shift. Ensure production plans, targets and OEE requirements are achieved. Manage communication between production lines and departments. Ensure sufficient materials, labour and resources are available. Monitor product quality and ensure all QC checks are completed correctly. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and Health and Safety. Lead team meetings and identify training and development requirements. Coach and develop team members, helping to build a multi-skilled workforce. Monitor equipment performance and work closely with the Asset Care team to minimise downtime. Support stock checks, works orders, material variances and production planning. Deliver improvement projects and organise overtime as required. Provide holiday and sickness cover as directed by the management team. About You You will ideally have previous supervisory or team leadership experience within food manufacturing, with a good understanding of production, quality, food safety and Health and Safety requirements. ..... full job details .....
