Production Supervisor

Elevation Recruitment Group has a really exciting opportunity with a building products manufacturer in West Yorkshire to recruit a Production Supervisor as they continue on an large scale development project! This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading a team, keeping production on track and getting stuck in when needed. You''ll make sure the shift has the people, training and resources to meet its targets, while keeping a close eye on safety, quality and downtime. Key details: £40,000 Monday - Friday days 10% matched pension, life insurance and employee assistance programme Healthcare support, retail discounts and development opportunities Key Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor include: Organising people and resources to meet production requirements Leading shift meetings and making sure handovers are clear Tracking production and downtime data, with accurate reporting Training operators and ensuring the team follows manufacturing and quality procedures Carrying out safety and compliance checks and escalating any concerns Working with Engineering and the Production Manager to solve problems and improve performance Providing practical support on the machinery when required We''re keen to speak with Production Supervisors with the following skills and experience: Experience leading people in a manufacturing environment A practical approach to planning, problem-solving and keeping production moving A good understanding of health and safety and ..... full job details .....
