Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
Reporting to: Managing Director

A growing precision engineering manufacturer is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead operations on the shop floor. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment where consistency and adaptability are key. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and confident in managing people and production schedules.

• Previous experience in production supervision or team leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

• Supervise shop floor operations to ensure workflow efficiency and schedule adherence.
• Interest in automotive, motorsport, aerospace, or general engineering.
• Progress-chase jobs and resolve bottlenecks in collaboration with teams.
• Conduct team briefings to communicate priorities and changes.
• Escalate production issues to senior management as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health & safety policies.
• Maintain accurate production records and report performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a positive work environment.
• Support conflict resolution and work closely with HR when necessary.
