Production Supervisor Location: HowdenSalary: 38,000 per annumHours: Approximately 40-45 hours per week The Opportunity We are recruiting for a hands-on Production Supervisor to join a busy food manufacturing business near Howden. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the packhouse, ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are consistently achieved. You''ll lead and motivate a team of production operatives while driving efficiency, maintaining food safety standards and creating a positive team culture. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor or Team Leader looking to take the next step within a fast-paced FMCG environment. The Role As Production Supervisor, you will:Lead, organise and motivate a team of production operatives to deliver the daily production plan.Plan labour effectively to maximise productivity and efficiency across the packing lines.Ensure all products are packed to customer specifications and quality standards.Drive production KPIs while reducing waste and downtime.Carry out pre-production checks, quality inspections and end-of-shift checks.Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, GMP and Health and Safety.Complete production paperwork and downtime records accurately.Work closely with the Production, Quality, Engineering, Intake and Despatch teams.Coach and develop team members through effective leadership and training.Provide cover for the ..... full job details .....
