The position is a permanent role paying 34,000 - 36,000 per annum (DOE) Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Day Shift) 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise day-to-day shop floor production in an engineering/fabrication environment. Allocate work and manage production priorities to meet customer deadlines and OTIF targets. Monitor quality, output, materials, waste and workflow, resolving issues early. Ensure work is completed safely, accurately and to drawings, specifications and quality standards. Maintain production schedules, SOPs, work instructions and safe working practices. Manage shop floor standards, attendance and performance, escalating issues where required. Support training, development and cross-training of the production team. Work closely with Maintenance, Estimating, CAD/CAM, Procurement and Quality teams. Communicate production priorities, risks and progress to the Head of Operations and wider team.
