Job Title: Production SupervisorLocation: RotherhamContract Type: PermanentWorking Pattern: 37.5 hours (Day shift) Salary 40,000 per annum Our client, a prominent player in the engineering industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to lead their shop floor production operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about driving efficiency, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring high-quality production standards.Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day production activities, ensuring adherence to operational targets and deadlines.Manage and lead shop floor employees, including performance management, absence management, and recruitment.Drive a culture of continuous improvement, working closely with the Engineering and Project Management teams.Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, organised work environment in line with company policies.Conduct risk assessments and support operators in adhering to safe work practises.Investigate quality issues and implement root cause corrective actions to enhance production quality.Collaborate with the Planning team to align production schedules with customer demands.Utilise KPIs and PIs to monitor team performance, making recommendations for improvements.Support the People and Culture department in employee relations matters and development plans.
