The operation is developing, the team has plenty of potential, and there is real scope for someone to come in, raise standards and shape how the shift performs. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation, leading the production team across safety, quality, service, cost and performance. The foundations are there, but there is plenty still to improve—from developing frontline leadership and increasing engagement to reducing waste, improving efficiency and embedding more consistent ways of working. A major part of the role will be developing the people around you. You’ll coach Shift Managers, Team Leaders and Operators, create greater accountability and build a team capable of delivering sustainable improvements rather than short-term fixes. You’ll also work closely with Engineering, Technical, Planning and Continuous Improvement to identify opportunities and turn them into practical changes on the factory floor.
