Production Shift Manager Food Manufacturing £50,000 £55,000 4 on 4 off DaysThis is an opportunity to do more than simply manage a shift.The operation is developing, the team has plenty of potential, and there is real scope for someone to come in, raise standards and shape how the shift performs.You ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation, leading the production team across safety, quality, service, cost and performance. The foundations are there, but there is plenty still to improve from developing frontline leadership and increasing engagement to reducing waste, improving efficiency and embedding more consistent ways of working.A major part of the role will be developing the people around you. You ll coach Shift Managers, Team Leaders and Operators, create greater accountability and build a team capable of delivering sustainable improvements rather than short-term fixes.You ll also work closely with Engineering, Technical, Planning and Continuous Improvement to identify opportunities and turn them into practical changes on the factory floor.What you ll be doing Leading the day-to-day performance of the production shiftCoaching and developing the shift leadership teamDriving improvements across efficiency, waste, labour and outputBuilding stronger standards, structure and accountabilityEnsuring safety, quality and customer requirements are consistently metUsing performance data to identify issues and implement lasting improvementsSupporting the continued development ..... full job details .....
