Production Shift Manager Nights

Food FMCG Night Shift Production Manager You must be exerienced in and provide leadership across a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing operation, ensuring the safe, efficient and consistent delivery of the production plan. The Prodeuction Manager will lead the night shift to achieve demanding output, quality, service and cost targets while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, HACCP, GMP, hygiene and health and safety. Work closely with Technical, Engineering, Planning, Warehouse and other departments to maintain production continuity and maximise equipment and labour utilisation. Lead, coach and develop Team Leaders and production colleagues and ensure clear communication of production priorities, targets and standards. Production Manager will manage key FMCG manufacturing KPIs including OEE, output, yield, waste, downtime, labour efficiency and right-first-time performance, taking immediate action to address losses and performance gaps. Support with recruitment, onboarding, training and succession planning while developing Team Leaders and creating a strong pipeline of future manufacturing talent. Drive Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement across the night shift, using production data, root cause analysis and Lean/OPEX methodologies to identify and eliminate waste, bottlenecks, downtime and process inefficiencies.
