This is a hands-on operational management position within a 24-hour process facility. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant operation of the plant during your shift, coordinating production, plant performance, maintenance support, safety systems and environmental compliance. The role You will take operational control of the facility during your shift, ensuring the plant remains within safe operating limits and delivers against agreed production and performance targets. Responsibilities will include: -  Managing the safe and efficient operation of the Energy-from-Waste facility -  Coordinating waste processing, combustion, boiler, steam and turbine operations -  Monitoring plant performance through the DCS and responding to abnormal operating conditions -  Managing plant start-ups, shutdowns and operational recovery activities -  Operating and managing permit-to-work and safe systems of work -  Coordinating maintenance activity to minimise disruption and operational losses -  Ensuring emissions and environmental permit requirements are met -  ...
