Reporting directly to the Production Manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of production within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team. The position will appeal to a strong manager looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company. Role Description:To assist Senior Managers with day-today operational issues, to ensure the smooth running of the production department.To ensure that all areas of production are adequately staffed, resourced and utilised to the best possible effect for achieving operational targets.Take an active role in managing staff probations, including employee reviews.Take full responsibility for all staff training, including on the job training, health and safety training.To ensure that Health and Safety Legislation, policies and procedures are adhered to and a culture of safe working promoted, including management of all PPE.To ensure that excellent customer service is maintained by completing the required production units in a timely manner and to a satisfactory quality.To review the performance of production staff ..... full job details .....
