Production Shift Leader The Opportunity: The Production Shift Leader will assume responsibility for 80 staff across a swing shift rotation (6-2/2-10 7 days per week). The role does require overtime being worked on the weekend, which is well recompensed, but applicants should be aware. This shift orientated role will require you to utilise all of your Manufacturing Management / Production Supervisory skills in a pro-active and hands on manner. The purpose of the role is to effectively manage a large manufacturing team and equipment resources to optimise production workflow, maximise employee performance and ensure consistent, on time delivery to meet forecasted customer demand. The Role: You will effectively lead a team of 80 staff in a busy production environment, focussing on the management of people, workflow, performance, output, quality and health and safety. Build a strong team culture based on communication, collaboration, and engagement. Lead by example and provide guidance to your team, helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential. Meet production schedules, achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), and contribute to the overall success of the department. Analyse production processes, identify and resolve challenges, and make sound decisions under pressure. Develop and implement operational plans, manage resources efficiently, and oversee daily activities.
