Production Scheduler Sector: Rail / Infrastructure Maintenance Location: West London (Onsite) Rate: 36.79 Umbrella rate Role OverviewA Production Scheduler is required to support a rail infrastructure maintenance programme, ensuring effective planning and coordination of engineering and maintenance activities within a live operational environment.You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and monitoring production schedules, coordinating across engineering, maintenance, procurement, and operational teams to ensure efficient and compliant delivery of works.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain production schedules for maintenance and engineering activitiesCoordinate workflows across multiple departments and suppliersTrack progress, manage delays, and update schedules accordinglyRelease and manage work orders via SAP or similar systemsEnsure accurate reporting and record keepingSupport resource and access planning in a safety-critical environmentIdentify issues and support continuous improvementEssential Skills and ExperienceExperience in production planning/scheduling within rail, transport, infrastructure, or engineeringStrong SAP (or similar system) experienceExcellent coordination and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilityExperience working in regulated or safety-critical environmentsDesirableRail or infrastructure maintenance backgroundKnowledge of maintenance planning or possession/access coordinationProcess improvement ..... full job details .....
