Production Planning Manager

Our client specialises in manufacturing different gearing systems. They are currently looking for a Production Planning Manager who is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production planning process to ensure efficient and timely production of goods. This role involves managing production schedules, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely procurement of materials andsupplies.Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to address any issues or delays.Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that all products meet quality standards.Analyse production data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement / SIOP / Load andCap analysis.Implement and maintain production planning software and tools.Communicate production plans and schedules to relevant departments and stakeholders.Optimise Production output working with a team of Production Planners / Managers andCoordinators.Skills and Qualifications/experience:Bachelor''s degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or significant experiencein a related field.Experience in the manufacturing industry, Aerospace a plus.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.Certification in production and ..... full job details .....
