Production Planning CoordinatorClacton-on-Seato 35000About the RoleWe are looking for an organised and proactive Production Planning Coordinator to join our manufacturing team based in Clacton-on-Sea. This is a key role responsible for coordinating production schedules, materials and workflow to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and production runs efficiently.Working closely with Production, Purchasing, Sales, Engineering, Quality and Warehouse teams, you will ensure production plans are achievable, materials are available when required, and any risks to delivery are identified and managed.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain and communicate production plans and schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, stock levels and production capacity.Coordinate workflow across production departments to ensure priorities are managed effectively and deadlines are achieved.Monitor material availability, work-in-progress and finished goods, identifying shortages, delays or capacity constraints.Liaise with Purchasing and Stores to ensure raw materials and components are available when required.Work closely with Production Supervisors, Engineering, Quality and Sales teams to resolve planning issues and communicate schedule changes.Use ERP/MRP systems to review demand, release work orders, update schedules and maintain accurate planning data.Track production performance against plan, highlighting risks and supporting corrective actions where required.Identify opportunities ..... full job details .....
