Reporting into the Production Manager this Production Planning Administrator role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in a manufacturing environment where planning and precision are essential.

As a Production Planning Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and updating production schedules to meet demand
  • Scheduling internal works orders across manufacturing and assembly functions
  • Creating work-to lists to support internal production activity
  • Raising purchase orders in line with production requirements
  • Liaising with the internal purchasing team and suppliers to track order progress and escalate delays
  • Supporting just-in-time delivery principles to maintain production flow

As a Production Planning Administrator, your experience will include:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced production planning / scheduling (preferably within manufacturing)
  • Competence using Microsoft Excel / ERP systems
  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A methodical and analytical approach to data and planning information
  • Confidence communicating with internal teams and external suppliers
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A relentless energy for continuous improvement
