What You''ll Be Doing As Production Planner, you''ll be at the heart of our supply chain operations, ensuring products are available when customers need them while driving efficiencies across the business. Key responsibilities include: Managing and developing supplier relationships and existing supply chains. Using MRP data and forecasting tools to optimise inventory availability and improve OTIF performance. Analysing demand forecasts to support accurate purchase order placement. Working closely with Sales, Operations, Product Management, Customer Service and Quality teams to ensure seamless supply chain performance. Monitoring supplier delivery performance and proactively expediting orders where required. Recommending stock strategies and supplier-held inventory levels to enhance lead times and customer service. Identifying alternative sourcing opportunities and supporting supplier negotiations. Coordinating inbound shipments with freight forwarders across sea, air and road transport.
