New Permanent Job Opportunity-Production PlannerMonday-FridayDay shiftWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our customers manufacturing team. You will take ownership of the master production schedule, balancing customer demand, shop-floor capacity, and material availability to ensure smooth, on-time delivery.Working closely with procurement, warehouse, and production supervisors, you will turn sales forecasts into actionable daily and weekly build plans while minimizing downtime and excess inventory.Key Responsibilities Master Production Scheduling (MPS): Develop, maintain, and execute the master production schedule based on sales data, lead times, and capacity constraints. Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Work with MRP/ERP systems to track component stock levels and raise timely purchase or work orders.Shop-Floor Coordination: Liaise daily with production managers and line supervisors to monitor work order progress and resolve bottlenecks.Capacity and Resource Planning: Assess labour, machine utilization, and material readiness, proposing adjustments like overtime or re-sequencing when priorities shift.Continuous Improvement: Support lean manufacturing initiatives, reduce waste, and help drive root-cause analysis for any delivery or quality delays.
