Production Planner

A client of ours in the Colchester area are recruiting a Production Planner to join their team. This is a full-time position working Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 4:00pm, and Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pm, paying a negotiable salary depending on experience. This is an initial 3-6 month tempoarary role with the intention to become permanent, depending on performance and business needs.Your key duties in this Production Planner role will include but are not limited to:Developing and maintaining detailed production schedules to meet customer demand and business objectivesCoordinating with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to ensure material availabilityMonitoring progress and adjusting schedules to maintain efficiencyUsing Microsoft Dynamics AX (ERP) and MRP systems to manage planning data, stock levels, and production workflowsIdentifying and resolving production bottlenecks or capacity constraintsMaintaining accurate records and preparing regular management reportsSkills and Experience required to be considered for this role:Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role within a manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and MRP systemExcellent organisational and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesHigh attention to detail and ability to perform well in a fast-paced settingMust be able to hit the ground running and work independently with minimal supervisionIf you feel like you meet the above ..... full job details .....
