Production Planner

We are supporting a leading technology and manufacturing business in Reading that is seeking a Production Planner to join their Operations team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role where you''ll play a vital part in ensuring production plans, inventory levels and customer commitments are delivered efficiently and on time.The RoleAs Production Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and optimising production schedules while coordinating closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Quality and Customer Service teams. You will also support RMA processes, ensuring returned products are effectively managed through repair, replacement or rework processes with minimal disruption to operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage daily, weekly and monthly production schedules based on customer demand, forecasts and inventory levels.Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to meet changing priorities and customer requirements.Coordinate RMA activities, including repairs, replacements, rework and returns processing.Work closely with Procurement to ensure materials and components are available when required.Monitor inventory levels and resolve shortages or discrepancies ..... full job details .....
