Production Planner

NEW PRODUCTION PLANNER IN SEDGEFIELD.

Our client is a leading UK technology business specialising in the design and manufacture of high performance RF, microwave and millimetre wave technologies. Their products support customers across telecommunications, aerospace, defence, space and critical communications.

They are now looking for an experienced Production Planner to join their Operations team at their state of the art manufacturing facility in Sedgefield.

Responsibilities as an Production Planner-in Sedgefield.

• Developing and maintaining production plans and schedules based on customer demand and project requirements
• Monitoring material availability, manufacturing capacity and work in progress
• Maintaining accurate ERP and MRP planning data
• Supporting daily and weekly production planning reviews
• Providing clear visibility of priorities, progress, risks and required actions
• Identifying and escalating potential risks to customer delivery
• Working cross functionally to resolve production constraints
• Supporting improvements to planning processes, schedule adherence and production flow
• Contributing to NPI, engineering change and production ramp up activities

Requirements as an Production Planner-in-Sedgefield.

• Strong knowledge of ERP or MRP systems
• A good understanding of production flow, capacity planning and material availability
• Experience managing work in progress and production priorities
